My idea of a great vacation is exploring somewhere new without me having to stress out about planning everything. I went on this trip to Sicily at the recommendation of a dear friend, and it turned out to be more than I ever knew I needed. The coordinator of this incredible journey, Lorraine, left every doubt I had about going far behind me. From the moment I met her, I understood that she has a rare and beautiful gift. Her insight into midlife, into women, into aging, and really into life itself is so genuine and so deeply felt that you cannot help but be drawn to her. She immediately becomes someone you love, someone you trust, and someone you feel lucky to know. Lorraine also has an incredible intelligence and instinct for creating trips that are curated so impeccably, it is hard to imagine anything topping them — although maybe that only happens when you go on the next one. For any woman, at any age, who has been through loss, grief, change, health issues, or simply feels that she needs something more in her life, I cannot recommend one of Lorraine’s trips enough. I went to Sicily not fully knowing what I was searching for, and I came home feeling renewed, stronger, lighter, and changed for the better. Lorraine is incredible. What she creates is not just a trip. It is an experience that reminds women that life is still full of beauty, connection, possibility, and joy.
